Not far from where I live there are two interesting old castles to visit:
Both are at the top of the hills where you can get a superb view of the Seine valley.
The first one at La Roche Guyon is built partly into the chalk hills: so to get up there from the more recent castle
situated at the level of the Seine, you have to climb up stairs in a secret tunnel dug right through the hill.
